Custom Quilts
Custom quilts encompass several different types of quilts that we can make here at SoSews Quilts. There are memory quilts, quilts that are made purely upon request and custom t-shirt quilts. If you can dream it we can help you make it. Because each of these quilts is unique there is no set price. We will discuss with you exactly what you are wanting regarding size, type of custom quilt and other details that will help us determine price and send you an estimate based on your requests. We will discuss in more detail the types of custom quilts below.
Memory Quilts
Memory quilts are made out of any other types of clothing besides t-shirts. Whether it’s baby or kids clothes, your own clothes or clothes from a lost loved one, getting them made into a memory quilt is a wonderful way to save them. Memory quilts are usually made throw size – big enough to wrap around you. Of course, if you’d like your quilt made bigger or smaller, we are happy to do that. You can use any type of clothing/fabric items in your memory quilt. We suggest that you leave out things that are not washable. We always recommend sending everything you would like to include (no matter how odd). If we can use it, we will. Otherwise, we will send unused items back with the quilt.

custom t-shirt quilts
SoSews also offers custom t-shirt quilts. These are not the standard sashed, random or random sashed designs that have set prices. Each of these quilts will be priced individually after discussing what you would like for your custom t-shirt quilt. Whether you would like sashing that is a different style, a special pattern or need to get a previously started t-shirt quilt finished up, we can help. Check out our gallery to get some inspiration.

custom quilt requests
SoSews takes all kinds of special requests. Any idea you have, we will try to make a reality. Usually customers have a theme in mind for the quilt or something special they want to include in the quilt. If you have a clear vision of what you want for your quilt, that’s great. If you only have a spark of an idea, that’s great too. Whatever your idea, we will work together with you to come up with a quilt size, style, design and colors that will bring your idea to life.
